In order to install the high availability (HA) failover, the selected network cards on both systems must have the same SysID. Also, make sure to use https and the port 4444 to access the UTM. First interface LAN should be set to bridge and the WAN should be set to NAT. In most configurations, the network interface with SysID eth1 is chosen as the connection to the external network. If you are not able to ping the instance then you must check the interface configurations for the UTM. If I check the network hardware from the command line (lshw), ETH0 is not listed but now the two USB NICs show up as ETH1 and ETH2.
